Rays families,

Almost every field in Loudoun is closed today due to last night's rain. Woodgrove Park is closed and today's practice is cancelled. For tomorrow's practice, I am rolling back the actual practice time to 1-3p due to possible afternoon thunderstorms.

Rays families,

 Congrats to these players for winning the GLBR 13/15 Regular Season Division. They worked hard and really earned it! Now comes the real season; the GLBR Divisional Playoffs...

I realize this is a holiday weekend and you may already have holiday plans. The coaching staff will conduct two practices this weekend with the hope that all players can attend at least one (both would be great, but we understand holiday plans). I am awaiting our practice assignment for this week. Our first playoff game will be Saturday June 4th at Lovettsville Park beginning at 12:30p. The tournament is double elimination and each game must be played to the full 7 innings regardless of time. I will email the full bracket and playing time rules later this week.

For this evening's practice, please have players report to the Lovettsville Park batting cages at 7:00pm. We will begin in the cages and move into the field at 7:30 and conclude practice at 9pm instead of the listed 9:30p time.

tomorrow's game vs. Mets will be played during the hottest part of a 95 degree day. Please have players consume a quality breakfast and begin to hydrate during the morning hours. 
 

We plan to begin gradual team warm up at 11:30. Due to a previously scheduled game at Fireman's field, we may not get the field until closer to 12:00.
